Happy 1 Year to Genuine Chiropractic!

This is a HUGE week in our practice! Thursday, June 12 will be the 1 year anniversary of Genuine Chiropractic Inc! This year has been so busy, full of ups and downs, but the feeling of making it to 1 year is absolutely incredible!
Today we publicly announced, and many of our patients already knew about this, that we are officially moving locations to 25 E. De La Guerra! We will have our own suite off the courtyard behind DiviniTree Yoga & Arts Studio, a 2 block walk from our current location!
This is a big shift for the practice as we will now be able to be open more days and hours to better serve our patients! Future workshops will be held inside the studios of DiviniTree and we are so excited about the collaborations that are being cultivated right now!
We genuinely appreciate your support, understanding, and patience as we make this transition! We will do our personal best to make it as smooth as possible in order to serve our patients with the highest quality chiropractic care in Santa Barbara.

In loving gratitude

Happy Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday! What are you doing to make this a great day? Take some time for yourself to connect your mind, body, spirit to the earth. This may be through yoga, a walk in nature, getting adjusted, or “chop wood, carry water” meditation.
Taking this time to “get clear” and connect allows your nervous system to balance and that is when true inside-out healing will take place.
Genuine Chiropractic is here to serve you and your entire family. To make an appointment visit www.genuinechiro.com or call 805.285.2712

CCA Convention 2014

This past weekend Dr. Jacob and I attended the California Chiropractic Association (CCA) www.genuinechiro.com  annual convention in San Diego. It was our third time at this convention/ location and it is truly a wonderful space and event.
The convention is held each year at Paradise Point Resort & Spa which takes up all of a 44 acre island in the middle of Mission Bay. There are great restaurants nearby and we even went to the Ocean Beach Food Co-op which I had read about several months ago on a list of the top 10 health stores in the United States! Everywhere we go for a conference we scope out the organic restaurant scene as a first order of business! When you are traveling, sleeping in hotels, and sitting for many hours listening to speakers it is even more important to eat well!

We went to lectures on Autism Spectrum Disorder, functional neurology, ethics, a four hour lecture on clinical nutrition / inflammation, and them some sorter TED talk style lectures.
It was truly lovely and there is always great energy when you get to be around over 600 other chiropractors! I feel so fortunate that I get to attend events like the CCA convention in such a beautiful spot and that as of today I am president of my local CCA chapter! It is going to be a fun year. =)

Peace,
Dr. Elizabeth Wisniewski
