Peace Through Strength

When you are going through a difficult time, people often tell you to dig deep and find inner strength. How do you do this? Where does this inner strength come from? This is something I have been constantly seeking and trying to cultivate my entire life. Enduring over 30 eye surgeries throughout my childhood and watching my mother die as a result of breast cancer treatment when I was only 14 led me on what seemed like a wild goose chase for inner peace and strength.
It has been quite the rocky road the past 15 years, but now that I will be turning 30 in summer, I am beginning to find this strength…. Or perhaps it has always been there! I feel fortunate to be part of a very dedicated healing community and that I am able to call upon my community partners when I need extra support. Obviously I get adjusted regularly, depending on the week I will get checked and adjusted 3 – 4 times a week. Regular acupuncture, theta energy healing, perception reprograming through biofeedback, massage, yoga, meditation, and lots of exercise are allowing me to recognize the full expression of my strength.
Chiropractic care takes pressure and stress off the nervous system(removing interference) thus allowing the body to heal its self from above, down, inside-out. Having a nervous system free from interference allows me to workout harder, focus on my yoga practice with clear intention, and touch base with the true essence of what makes me, me! It creates mindfulness, so that I am constantly connected with my own innate intelligence and can better serve others through universal intelligence. A fully functioning nervous system allows the body to adapt and respond to stresses properly therefore overall health is improved.
Each day I realize a little bit more who I am, where I am going, and how to live my life optimally. Through my loss of sight I am connecting with people on a different level. I receive a lot of my sensory impute directly into my heart space on a vibrational level. This is such a different way of receiving sensory impute, that I am just now realizing how to interpret and understand what I am receiving and feeling.
I encourage you to get checked and adjusted regularly so that you to may start realizing your full genetic potential. There are so many beautiful healing modalities but you need a free and fully functioning nervous system in order to take full advantage of them.

  1. Beautiful. Sometimes it's hard to remember that we "are not given more than we can handle." Life can be a battlefield, but He knows our inner strength.
