Setting Intention After the Pain is Gone




Health is a process… not an event. As a practice, Genuine Chiropractic can certainly help you get out of pain. We have lots of experience with common conditions like neck and low back pain. But what really excites us is what you do after you are out of pain. When you can return to things you love like rock climbing, practicing yoga, or running. When you are able to do your daily activities with ease, such as turn your head when you are parallel parking your car or squatting down properly to pick up a heavy item. These are the things we expect with regular chiropractic care and love hearing about from our patients!
Simply measuring your health, disease, or progress based on pain is honestly a terrible thing! Pain is often the last thing to show-up and the first thing to go away. This is why so many people re-injure themselves soon after they are out of pain. While the pain is gone, there is still instability in their spine leading to subluxations. These subluxations are putting pressure or stress other nervous system and the nerves control all 70 trillion cells of the human body. So I will ask you this… what would you be doing if you did not have any pain? If you were perfectly healthy, free from limitations, how would your life be different? Take some time to meditate on this important question. Once you have it in mind we will have you focus on that goal as you get adjusted so that intention is flowing to every single cell, tissue organ in your body. Mindfulness and meditation are powerful tools and when used with a specific chiropractic adjustment they are incredible! Never underestimate the power of your body to health from above, down, inside-out. You can live the life you have imagined and together we can cultivate Vitalism in our community.
